Lloyd State Park is a 253 acre park between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway which offers a broad flat beach providing a perfect spot for beachcombing, swimming, sunbathing, kayaking and volleyball. This astounding beachfront park preserves some of South Florida's vanishing natural resources. It's natural setting contrasts sharply with the fast growing urban development of Ft. Lauderdale. Island beach facilities include full service bar/restaurant, clean restrooms, fresh water showers, snorkel equipment, kayaks & canoes, and chaise lounges.
